With Covid-19 forcing people to lockdown and stay inside, digital transformation in all areas of life became the norm, and the healthcare sector was no different. Telehealth calls, QR prescriptions and my health records all became part of everyday life. The pandemic served as a veritable testing ground for emerging digital health concepts and practices. Working closely with Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA) a national survey was launched to enable all Australians to have a say about the future of our digital health care system. A website was designed for a 15 minute survey to be completed. People were asked about their personal experiences using digital health and any further ideas how technology can help make a difference. The feedback provided through this survey was then used to develop the draft strategy and implementation plan for governments, healthcare providers, consumers, innovators and the technology industry.
